Welcome to the official site of the Hilliard for Sheriff campaign.

This site offers one more way that I can hear the concerns of you, the citizens of Merrimack County, N.H. I am honored to proudly advocate what citizen government is all about: addressing the "quality of life" issues that affect us all.

For 25 years, I have proudly served the citizens of New Hampshire as a police officer and, for the past 10 years, as police chief in Northfield, where I live with my wife and two children.

I believe in a regional team approach to dealing with the issues such as crime and drug abuse, and my specialty is in child and juvenile matters.

In 1991, I was part of a pilot project that employed a team approach to investigating child abuse matters. This project was so successful, it is now a template for many other N.H. communities as well as states across the country.

Please review where I stand on several important issues, and see where you can meet me in person.

Those of you who would like to assist me in giving back to the community have several ways you can help volunteer or contribute funds.

From my wife and children, to parade volunteers, campaign coordinators, poll standers and, most importantly the voters, all of you are part of my success.
 
Your energy and determination inspire me as I continue to deliver our message of budgetary responsibility and coordination of resources for the general election in November.
