Nov. 2, 2005- Scott receives an endorsement from Dana Smith (Loudon, N.H.), former Merrimack County Sheriff (1981-1988).

Sept. 15, 2005 - Scott files a Political Action Committee (PAC) with the New Hampshire Secretary of State Office. The committee name is “Hilliard for Sheriff.”

July 26, 2005 - Scott receives a written endorsement from Peter Brigham (Penacook, N.H.), 2004 Republican Candidate for Merrimack County Sheriff.

Lending a Helping Hand
 

 
A "toll booth"-style fund-raiser along Route 3 in Tilton helped raise $24,000 for families of rescue workers and police officers who were killed or injured in the 9/11 attacks. Scott Hilliard played an important role in the fund-raising event.
